 Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub of the United States is an actress comedian, activist, and actress. Born in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents, she began her career as a child performer shortly after immigrating to the United States. In AT&T television commercials she played the character as Lily Adams (saleswoman) from 2013 through 2016 and the year 2020. Apart from commercial appearances, she was a regular on the Yahoo! Screen science-fiction comedy Other Space (2015). Also, she was regular on the NBC drama This Is Us (2016–2017). After being featured in the TV pilot that was never aired for New Warriors, Vayntrub also plays Squirrel Girl in Marvel Rising. Vayntrub is a Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic (USSR) native and is a Jew. Her parents, who were both at the age of two, came to America to escape antisemitism. They settled in West Hollywood. Due to her family's financial problems the actress began appearing in Mattel Barbie commercials as a five-year-old. Vayntrub briefly attended Beverly Hills High School. But she dropped out of the school in her sophomore year. She earned a GED and was able to earn an undergraduate degree in Arts (Communication) from University of California San Diego. She was introduced to improv comedy through the Upright Citizens Brigade.
