 Nathan John Feuerstein (born March 30, 1991) and known by his initials NF (stylized as IF), is an American musician, rapper as well as songwriter, record producer and songwriter. Two EPs were released by the artist, I'm free (2012) [3and an EP self-titled in the year 2014. He signed to Capitol CMG. The first album by a major label, Mansion, was released on March 31, 2015. His second album, Therapy Session, was released on April 22, 2016, and reached the top spot at 12 on the US Billboard 200. His albums have won numerous accolades, some of which include the Gospel Music Association Dove Award for Rap/Hip Hop Album of the Year (Therapy Session).NF achieved mainstream popularity in 2017 with Perception; the album charted at number one in the United States and was certified platinum, while its third single, "Let You Down", reached number twelve on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 topped the charts across the globe as well as being a top ten single. Feuerstein achieved the same commercial success in his follow-up album The Search (2019). Feuerstein stated that rap was as a way to escape his youth. He would record songs using an karaoke machine and record instrumentals with one microphone, and his raps on the other. Feuerstein is his real name, released Moments, his debut studio album, on the 29th of November 2010. The debut single, "Alone", came out on August 2, 2011. Brooke Griffith and Tommee Profitt who produced the track and songwriter, were featured in the track. Xist Music came to Feuerstein’s work in the year 2012. The 2nd of May, 2012 he released his debut extended play I'm Free with the production of Profitt. The playlist included nine songs including "Alone". The EP also featured an exclusive rendition of "Alone" featuring Sean Simmonds. Xist had been teased about the self-titled, extended play NF. But Feuerstein has ended his association with the label and the release of NF was delayed. However, NF featured a song, "Only One", featuring Shuree Williams, in the label's compilation album, Move Vol 1. On November 4, 2013, he released the single "Beautiful Addiction". Profitt returned to the track with vocals performed by Brady Schmitz (vocals) and Danielle Swift (vocals).
